How to rent a bike in Batumi

In recent years, cycling has become one of the most popular means of transportation in Batumi. Bike paths are installed on almost all the main streets and boulevards, so you can often see cyclists, especially in the summer.

Although cycling is considered more of a recreational activity in Batumi, it is also convenient for quick transportation or getting to the store. There are bike parking lots located in different parts of the city, where you can pick up your bike in one place and return it in a completely different place.

How to rent a bicycle?

To rent a bicycle, you need a special card, which is issued at the Batumi Tourist Information Center, located near the Wedding Palace and Near the main fountains of the boulevard. You will need an ID and money to get the card. You will be explained on site how to use it.

Prices and tariffs:

• 1 hour — 2 GEL (calculated every 15 minutes, 50 tetri)
• 10-day card — 10 GEL (4 GEL of which is the cost of the card, and 6 GEL will be credited to the balance, issued only during the tourist season)
• Annual card — 20 GEL (10 GEL is the cost of the card, 10 GEL will be credited to the balance)

When you return the bike, the machine automatically determines the amount remaining on the card, which you can use the next time.
