About us
Ethnographic Museum "Borjghalo" is located on 3000 sq.m., with appropriate infrastructure, greenery and walkways. Here you can see 9 m. High natural waterfall with forest cover.
The museum presents models of residential and commercial buildings typical of the Adjara region, branches of folk crafts, agrarian farming, daily life (accompanied by the appropriate folk song) and others.
Here you will find mannequins by occupation, age and personality. The museum also presents the wood carving works of the founder of the museum, Kemal Turmanidze, which have won many international recognitions. The uniqueness of the museum is expressed in the fact that each branch, mannequin, model or wood carving model presented here was created by one person, the founder of the museum.
