Information
The experimental play of the classic Georgian dramatist Polikarpe Kakabadze, the symbolic-expressive drama "Three Daughters" - is presented to us in an alternative, documentary-artistic form with the interpretation of the director Salome Jijavadze. The main line is focused on femicide and violation of women's rights: in what reality does a woman have to exist? A condition experienced by society's attitudes, subjective views or the fear of breaking the framework of a personal comfort zone. Violence against women - includes a wide range of violent acts, starting with verbal abuse and other forms of emotional violence, ending with physical or sexual. The modern reality is presented through the use of retrospective in the play. The main characters – the three daughters, are symbolically representatives of a vulnerable group, whose actions build the storyline and try to break the system.
