The new artistic director of the Batumi Drama Theater, Aleksandre Kantaria, chose the play “The Disgraced” by the classic of Georgian literature, Mikheil Javakhishvili, as his first performance. The director found a new title for the production based on this play – “Inside the Village”.

An intense plot, clearly drawn characters, Javakhishvili-like depth of the story, a wide range of society, clearly palpable symbolism, which will make the audience think about the fate of Georgia, this is the creative charm and intrigue that the upcoming play offers us.
