Batumi Higher Marine Engineering School Anri

Limited Liability Company "Maritime Training Center" was founded in June 2000, in August 2005, the school changed its name and was founded as "Marine Training Center Anri" LLC, and from July 1, 2014 it is called Batumi Higher Marine Engineering School Anri (LLC). Busss Henri).

The director of the school is the long-distance sailing captain, T.M. doctor, professor Anzor Diasamidze, who spares no energy and effort to educate educated sailors, to conduct high-quality training/retraining of marine specialists.

BUSS Anri implements professional educational programs, as well as training/retraining of seafarers, certification. BUSS Anri LLC is certified according to the international quality system ISO 9001:2015.

BUSS Anri LLC operates on the basis of the charter, since its establishment, it has been conducting theoretical, practical and simulator (training) training of maritime specialists in accordance with the international convention STCW with amendments, the Law of Georgia on the training, graduation and watchkeeping of seafarers and other international and national maritime legislation requirements.

Since September 2018, the educational institution has been implementing professional programs in the following specialties:
operation of the deck department; (study duration 15 months)
Operation of the engine compartment of the ship. (study duration 14 months)
Education is fully funded by the state.
BUSS Anri LLC is certified according to the international quality system ISO 9001:2015. We also have an IQNet certificate.

Anri is a member of such organizations as: Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Georgia, Association of Private Colleges of Georgia, Aari Logistics, Transport and Shipping Association; Member of the European Union-Georgia Business Council and others.

International associations: IASST (International Association for Safety and Survival Training) and Global MET (Global Maritime Education and Training), BSAMI (Association of Maritime Schools of the Black Sea Coast) and others.

Lectures and courses are delivered by experienced marine specialists, qualified professors and teachers.

Courses in the training and certification center are conducted with programs developed in accordance with the requirements of international, national and International Maritime Organization (IMO) model courses. The teaching and training process is based on developed, approved and recognized programs, using video material, simulators corresponding to the course. In order to conduct complete practical training, the school has the T/M "Captain Otar Chakhvadze", speedboats and lifeboats, tugboat, lifeboat, captain's bridge simulator, land-based fire fighting simulator, radiolocation and automatic radiolocation simulator, real engine department, laboratories and workshops, real ship Model, swimming pool and more.

The school has shared accommodation for students from other regions of Georgia or from abroad.
