About us
The Ethnographic Museum "Borjghalo" is located on an area of 3000 sq.m., has open and closed spaces, which allows you to visit the museum in any weather. Here you can also see an 11m. high artificial waterfall, covered with forest.
The museum presents artifacts characteristic of the Adjara region.
Models of residential and farm buildings, folk crafts, agriculture, everyday life (accompanied by a suitable folklore song), and more.
Here you will find mannequins according to their occupation, age and character. The museum also presents the woodcarving works of the museum's founder, Kemal Turmanidze, which have won numerous international awards. The uniqueness of the museum is expressed in the fact that each branch, mannequin, model or woodcarving sample presented here was created by one person, the founder of the museum.
